Where I've Been

T and I made a quick pilgrimage to the motherland over the weekend. In three days I managed to hear my fabulous sister and mom perform, see the fam (sorry friends, I was only there three days), show off T to my grandparents who had never seen him, attend a couple of family BBQs, get a haircut, a pedicure with my sis and mom, see our new baby niece, and watch T parade around with his grandpa on the riding mower in pure bliss.
Sorry there are no pictures, Michael had to keep the camera so he could take pictures of injuries and other owies he treats at work. Since I'm sure you'd rather not see craniofacial injuries, gunshot wounds and basal cell carcinomas, we'll just leave it at that. And if you do want to see those things, then you are lookin' at the wrong blog.
Thanks J & L for watching my punks, and thanks Michael for footing the bill for my little getaway.  I enjoyed every nanosecond.

Sorry I missed you this weekend. I had 1 kid with strep throat. It was a very very busy weekend.

Ooh, jealous. I'm glad you got a getaway. Sounds like lots of fun. We are residents of your state as of tomorrow. Crazy, huh? When are you coming for a visit?
