Here is the snow. Here are the children (semi) dressed for church. See that snow? I was raised to believe anything less than three feet is a skiff.
I am reminded that we aren't in Massachusetts anymore.

So we did what any sensible people given a day off church would do. We played.
T wasn't sold on the many extraordinary qualities of snow. He lasted out there for all of 10 minutes.
I am sore tempted to quote a favorite movie, The Christmas Story. Well, what is stopping me?
The lines, "My kid brother looked like a tick about to pop." and "I can't put my arms down!" come to mind.

Being in Oregon these past three years has not afforded our little cherubs frequent opportunities to frolic in the white stuff. They love it.

I personally think there aren't many things more becoming to a child than pink cheeks and noses.

Sadly, I won't be shocked if school is canceled tomorrow as well. Portland metro would do well to invest in some snowplows. This happens every year.

We got 6+ inches this weekend, and yes, we do still have school on monday and we stil had a baptism on saturday. Have fun.
Is it sad that we were more excited to play than go to church today? Oops, did I say that out loud? Jim even tried skiing down our driveway. He is the biggest kid of us all.
Isn't it amazing! We were pretty happy to have a free day to play in the white stuff too. The BK had us all out of bed and dressed in our snowclothes by 8:30am. Ahhh, it felt like Christmas!
Isn't it funny how places unused to snow deal with it?! Here, if snow touches the ground, pretty much the entire metroplex is shut down. It cracks up this Utah girl!
Looks like you did the same as us today. And I'm jealous you went to the Zoo Lights. . . something we've never gotten around to doing.
I can't believe your church was cancelled over that amount of snow! How great!!! :) Cute kids!
I remember one time when we lived in Nashville and there was a "CHANCE" of flurries and the whole city shut down. You couldnt find a loaf of bread or gallon of milk anywhere. We were dying of laughter and we didnt even get measurable snow fall.
Such cute pictures! We actually got snow today to!
