Random Twincess News

Pretty much my favorite use for Kool-Aid.

My favorite of Alice's suggestions for Twincess name sets:
Minty and Pixie
Elnie and Barna
Dilla and Nora
Sharrlotte and Maily (I'm assuming this means Charlotte and Miley)
Edna and Erie
Krimmy and Siria
Kary and Kinda
Para and Purie
Fanny and Fammy . . . . How will we ever choose?

Michael has nightmares that he mixes the babies up and can't tell which is which. A friend has promised to make the girls bracelets that will distinguish them from each other.

These twins had better appreciate what it is taking to get them here . . . yesterday the doc gave me prescriptions for Zantac (hello reflux!), antibiotics (for a wicked fierce sinus infection that would have never gotten this bad if I hadn't been pregnant) and Vicodin (Tylenol was only taking the edge off the pain). I've been in bed for what feels like ages and the agony is only beginning to ease.
And maybe one day they will sympathize with what a nuisance it is to have to cross your legs every time you sneeze.

It is finally time to make use of Michael's Christmas present to me . . . The housecleaning service is scheduled to come tomorrow morning at 10:00 am. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll use Kool-Aid in the toilet.

I thought you sounded sicker than just a cold! I had to take Zantac like candy during three of my pregnancies. Turns out the gallbladder was acting up. You look fabulous, though, even though those girls are getting bigger. Alice's names are hilarious and creative. Enjoy that housecleaning!

My old roommate had identical twins and they put fingernail polish on one toe of one of the girls so they could tell them apart. Just a thought (bracelets might break!). And that's an awesome list of names to choose from.

aw man, i hope you feel better soon. :( i hated being pregnant and sick...that should not be allowed to happen to pregnant women.
aannnd, a friend of mine who had twin girls painted the toenails of her little ones. i think she painted one girl pink, the other purple, or something like that. and i don't know what age she started doing that. but the bracelets are a fun idea :) that and you could make onesies with their names on them. bunches and bunches of onesies. :)
love your posts.

I didn't know you were feeling that bad, Mandy! Let me help with your kiddos! What can I do? I hope the meds make things all better. Vicodin makes many things better. Call me any time! I love all of Alice's names. I am sure you will pick good ones with such a creative helper.

I love the names! Sorry you've been so sick. I had to laugh at your "cross your legs when you sneeze" comment. I've had a bad cold the last couple of weeks too and let me tell you that coughing is the same problem for me. Ah, the price we pay to bring babies into the world. Good luck telling the twincesses apart!

Ooooh, I think "Krimmy" has to be my favorite name suggestion... although "Fanny" and "Fammy" are quite the pair, haha!! Hope you're feeling better!

I am not sure what your thoughts are on telling them apart, but my Aunt had twins and she pierced their ears almost immediately, one with stars and one with hearts, then they never came our and no one had to worry about it.

Hang in there! You are so close. I vote Minty and Pixie. Those are "sweet" names and girls are sweet. :)
