If You Don't Want to Hear Me Brag About My Kid Then it is Time to Go Read Somebody Else's Blog
Seth is finally moving past the play-with-grass-and-dirt-during-the-soccer-game phase. What's more, now that he is interested, he's playing pretty well!
He scored two goals for The Screaming Eagles yesterday.
But he also might have messed around on the sidelines a little bit too (you may need to enlarge this one to enjoy the little-boyness of it).
Here he is demonstrating his fierce team spirit.
Check out that kid in front of him. Seth is stealing the ball from a kid twice his size.

Future Olympic Hopefuls
Our recent attempt at miniature golfing with the kids and our nieces yielded some unexpected results . . . we've realized these children are demonstrating olympic-worthy talent in various sports. For example:
Discovering new curling skills.
Brushing up on his baseball. Unfortunately, baseball is being dropped from the olympic roster after Bejing.
So maybe we should forget baseball and shoot for the PGA.
Or maybe polo.
Here, my niece is developing an aptitude for archery, and/or air rifle.
See the synchrony? (There are three kids in this picture.) I'm thinking Synchronized Swimming.
Or hockey.
Every Olympics needs its spectator, though T could be practicing up for the equestrian events . . .
Here Al is demonstrating looking pensive and thoughtful while listening to the National Anthem in a medals ceremony.
Al was also responsible for my favorite olympic quote. We were watching olympic badminton, and she said "I don't want to watch badmitten, lets watch GOOD-mitten!"
Discovering new curling skills.
