A friend and I took our little guys and my niece to the zoo to see the new baby elephant (Seth was in school, I guess we'll get to take him later. Though the fact that Seth wasn't with us meant that we didn't have to discuss the size of elephant poo for the rest of the day, so that was kind of a bonus).
T calls him the "Bay-bay Aye-fant." T wants to be sure that you all know that a bay-bay aye-fant does not say
ROAR. Because if you ask him what an elephant says, his response is "Not
ROAR." Does that clear things up for everyone? Good.
Heh-woh bay-bay aye-fant . . . you in dere?

I know that the picture is less than superior in quality, but they wouldn't let me use a flash in the viewing area. Just know that he is veeeeery cute. His name is Sam, and he currently tops 300 pounds.

The red stickers on their shirts are promoting fund raising for a bigger elephant habitat at the zoo. What our stickers should say is "I waited 40 minutes in line to see Sam and it was worth it!"
