Yesterday was a particularly lovely and sunny starting-summer afternoon. As we were coming out of a frozen yogurt shop along the river, he looked at the sky and said, "Mom, is it almost night time? The sky is so blue . . . it must be getting dark soon!"

Today after lunch Thomas looked at me, furrowed his brow and asked, "Mom? When you eat, does the food go down to your belly?"

"Yup."

Thomas looked really concerned and replied, "Well Mom! You are getting your babies all dirty with that food in there! We have to clean them up now!"

This Girl Cracks Me Up

Every night when we send Alice in to get her pajamas on, we never know what she'll come up with.
This was how I found her after I sent her to get some barrettes for her own hair . . .
It's a good thing Thomas is a patient little guy (sometimes).
Yes, those are her Jasmine underpants. I wish I knew where she got this wacky sense of humor (snort).
