The highlights of a daily checklist utilized by a set of 20-month old twins:
To do:
Throw food on the floor
Wipe oatmeal in hair
Knock on bathroom door saying "Bath? Bath? Mom? Bath?
Use the word "mom" 3,942 times before lunch.
Bite sister
Hit sister
Hug sister
Push buttons on phone
Push buttons on remote
Push buttons on blue-ray player
Dump out book box
Dump out toy box
Leave finger, face and tongue prints on all accessible windows and stainless steel appliances
Sneak into big brother's room and steal Legos, marbles and/or chalk
Try on every pair of shoes in the house
Trip and fall while clomping around in dad's shoes
Accompany siblings as they attempt to practice the piano
Empty the cabinet full of Tupperware
Empty the silverware drawer
Attempt to get hands on a pen or pencil.... If successful, quickly create as much wall art as possible before being apprehended
Squeal and arch back when mom attempts to fasten carseats or stroller buckles
Pull barrettes and elastic a out of hair
Take of all clothing... Be a nudist for as long as mom will allow it
Cover all open floor space with stuff for mom to step on... Squishy things are best
Turn a light switch off and on at least 75 times.
"Help" with the laundry and dishes
Beg for bits of anything someone else is eating
Scream and thrash while having teeth brushed
Do our part to fill the landfill with diapers
Lick the handle of a shopping cart
Throw a tantrum
Carry a kitty (millie) or a baby (ev) around everywhere
Be cute so mom can muster the wherewithal to chase us around again tomorrow

Love it! Oh, how I remember that age… THE HARDEST stage there is with twins! You WILL survive, and oh, the tales you will have to tell will be grand indeed!
